Discovery Center houses the Office of Grants, Research and Innovation in the Starkville Oktibbeha School District!

Through the Office of Grants, Research and Innovation, the Starkville Oktibbeha School District creates and maintains an environment that supports and promotes excellence while representing District goals to achieve the following:

• enhance capacity to pursue research and grant opportunities.
• ensure ethical and responsible conduct of research and good stewardship of resources.
• engage in meaningful activity to advance public education.

The Office of Grants, Research and Innovation currently manages numerous grant programs at the state and federal level in areas of science, social emotional learning, school climate and culture, health and wellness, special education, and literacy.
