Starkville Oktibbeha School District’s Project CARE is seeking qualified and experienced individuals for the following responsibilities:
- To develop and implement periodic workshops on gardening and growing techniques that address family food insecurity issues.
- To develop and implement periodic workshops on family fitness and exercise.
- To develop and implement periodic workshops on the dangers of drug use and abuse during pregnancy.
- To develop and implement periodic workshops on the benefits and techniques of breastfeeding.
- To develop and implement periodic workshops on breathing techniques for stress relief and reduction.
- To develop and implement workshops on family violence and de-escalation techniques, for mental and emotional distress or agitation.
- To develop and implement workshops on prevention techniques and education to address child abduction.
- To implement workshops on child learning through physical play.
- To conduct certified training on proper car seat installation.
- To conduct basic computer literacy classes including basics of computer use, Word and Excel.
- Family Counselor-To develop and implement a Family Counseling program that provides regular family group sessions as well as individual counseling sessions for families as a whole and/or individual members.
