THE LEARNING CENTER
The Learning Center houses two Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District programs, which work closely with the staff at Overstreet Elementary School, West Elementary School, Partnership Middle School, Armstrong Junior School, and Starkville High School to provide student services in the following areas:
ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL
The Alternative School in the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District provides an alternative setting for students in grade 5 – 12. The school hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
ACCELERATORS
The Accelerators are students from Partnership Middle school in the 6th grade who are trying to accelerate their grade placement by intensive academic instruction/assistance. Students in the 6th grade will try to pass the academics necessary to pass 6th and 7th grade and enter the 8th grade the next school year. The school hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Is your current 6th-11th grader interested in trying out for our Jacket Spirit Squads? Starkville Middle School Cheer, Starkville High School Cheer and Starkville High School Dance will host a mandatory INTEREST MEETING on Tuesday, January 20 at 6:30pm at Greensboro Auditorium. Make plans to join us to learn about team requirements and tryouts!
