The Starkville High School Cheer Squad will host the annual Mini Cheer Camp for students in PreK - 6th grade on August 25 and will include a performance at halftime of the SHS vs West Point home football game on September 6.
The registration deadline for the Mini Cheer Camp is Friday, August 9 at 5:00pm. The registration fee is $35 per student, and includes t-shirt, snack and water. After registration deadline, cost is $50 and a tshirt will not be guaranteed. Click here to register.
Jacket Mini Cheer Camp
Sunday, August 25
2:00pm - 5:30pm
SHS Gym
Check-in begins at 1:30pm
Camp begins promptly at 2:00pm
Parent Performance at 5:30pm
**Parents/guardians will not be allowed inside the gym during camp. We will open the gym doors at 5:15pm for parents to come in for the performance that will begin at 5:30. Pick up is immediately following the performance.**

*No refunds will be given unless event is cancelled.
Campers are not guaranteed a t-shirt if registration is after August 9th.
Planned Camp Activities:
Each camper will receive a mini-cheer camp t-shirt. Snacks and bottled water will also be provided.
Campers will learn a chant, cheer, and dance from current SHS Cheerleaders while supervised by current program coaches and parents.
All mini cheer camp participants will have the opportunity to perform for family and friends at the SHS Yellow Jacket's football game against West Point on September 6. Family and friends are encouraged to attend. Tickets available for purchase at gofan.co. Mini Camp Cheerleaders are admitted free when wearing their camp t-shirt.
NOTE:
Camper should wear athletic shoes and comfortable/athletic clothing. Hair must be pulled back and off the shoulders. For safety purposes, no jewelry or gum is permitted.
