Two Starkville High School Girls Volleyball players have been named to American Volleyball Coaches Association national watch lists.
Jacket senior, Riley Suggs was named to the AVCA Girls High School All-American Watch List by the organization. Student athletes must be competing in their senior year to be eligible for the list. The 2023 list is comprised of 1320 student athletes from across the country, and Riley is one of only 27 volleyball players in the state of Mississippi to be recognized.
In addition, Jacket junior, Zariyah Edwards was named to the AVCA 2023 Phenom Watch List for up and coming players. The 2023 list is comprised of 2816 student athletes from across the U.S., and Zariyah is one of only 26 players chosen from the state of Mississippi.
