Partnership Middle School Math Team
The Partnership Middle School 7th grade Math Team earned 10th place overall at the Mississippi School for Math & Science Mu Alpha Theta Math High School Math Tournament on Thursday. The annual event included primarily high school students from 24 schools. Partnership students are in their first year of competition and participated with more than 420 other mathletes in ciphering challenges, written tests, a mini-interschool competition, and a potpourri round.
Seventh grade members of the PMS Math Team are Aiden Rhee, Justin Chung, Effia Wu, and Minjeong Kim. Congratulations to the team on winning the following additional awards:
Team Ciphering Algebra 1 -- 3rd Place
Team Potpourri -- 3rd Place
Written Test Algebra 1 -- 6th Place
Individual Written Test -- Aiden Rhee, 9th Place
