The Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District PTO has extended the deadline for entries in the annual Buzzys Art Awards to February 10.
The Buzzys art contest celebrates the artistic talents of our students for their original works in drawing, painting, photography and writing.
This year PTO is embracing the theme “Partnership” in recognition of the District’s groundbreaking year that promises to build upon existing partnerships, including construction of a new 6th and 7th grade school on the campus of Mississippi State University, and expand learning opportunities for all of our students.
For the 2017 Buzzys Art Awards, students are asked to creatively interpret the theme in their entries. Students may choose to demonstrate the theme in abstract or more figurative ways.
