Mississippi now requires a recent Tdap vaccination for all students entering the 7th grade. Rising 7th graders must provide an updated immunization record during centralized registration. This includes new students, current students and transfer students in both public and private schools.
A free vaccination clinic to administer the Tdap vaccine to rising 7th graders will be offered July 18-20 from 10:00-1:00 at Sudduth Elementary School during centralized registration.
If your child received the TDAP vaccine at AMS in April, you do not need to provide an updated immunization form. Your child’s updated record will be available at the AMS table during centralized registration.
