NOMINATE AN ALUMNUS OF SHS WHO IS DOING OUTSTANDING WORK AFTER GRADUATION; NOMINATIONS DUE MAY 16
Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District and Starkville Foundation for Public Education are accepting nominations for the year 2016 inductees until May 16.
The intent of this program is to recognize former students, faculty and friends who have, as a result of their association with SHS and/or other former high schools in our District, made significant contributions to society. Previous inductees are/were involved in education, medicine, military service, business and finance, the arts, and athletics. Two hallway vestibules have been designated to house the plaques and portraits of honorees.
Nominees must have graduated from either Starkville High School or former high schools in our District, including Henderson High School, East High School and West High School at least 25 years ago; they must have made significant contributions to both community service and public education. Outstanding contributors to the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District may also be considered.
