YES! Summer Science Camps: Online Registration Opens Tuesday, March 1

Looking for a great summer camp? The Youth Environmental Science program, which is a partnership between MSU and the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District, has three great camps to choose from during the month of July.

Registration opens Tuesday, March 1 @ 7 am.

Camp Descriptions

Wild Child, Incoming 3rd-5th graders, $75
July 18-22

This exciting new day camp will include a week long exploration of many different ecosystems at Sam D. Hamilton Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge! Includes outside games, canoeing, archery, hiking, as well as one night camping with astronomy! 8:00am-4:30pm.

CSI: Wildlife, Incoming 3rd-5th graders, $75
July 25-29

This new day camp will be a week long detective ad-venture learning about forensic science, entomology, pathology, and law enforcement! All wildlife-related topics! Perfect for kids who love experiments and solving mysteries! 8:00am-4:30pm.

Outdoor Survival Camp, Incoming 6th-8th graders, $150
July 10-15

Back by popular demand! Introduction to outdoor skills including camping, fire-building, first aid, gear packing, fishing, boating, swimming, orienteering, and star navigation, plus so much more! Travel the northern part of Mississippi and explore the wilderness! Limited to 20 campers.
