Promoting the arts within the community, the Starkville Area Arts Council and Cotton District Arts Festival are proud to share the Student Art Competition and Exhibition with you.
The SAAC is now accepting entries for the 2016 Cotton District Arts Festival student art contest. Developing and recognizing young artists in the community while making art accessible to young minds is the hallmark of this competition. There is no theme for the student contest, and the artist may choose the subject matter and media.
Students in grades 4-12 who want to enter the Cotton District Arts Festival Student Competition should turn their work in to their art or VIVA teacher or return it to their school’s front office by April 7.
