The students auditioned for the choir earlier this month in Oxford.
During the audition, the students were required to perform two excerpts from an advanced level repertoire.
“This is a tremendous honor for SHS and our students,” said SHS Choral Director Regina Weeks. “Being selected for the MS All State Honor choir is the highest recognition for choral music students.”
The students will attend the Mississippi Music Educators Association Spring Conference where they will learn from renowned clinicians as they prepare for an All State Honor Choir concert.
