The Starkville School District has partnered with Mississippi State University and the award-winning Youth Environmental Science (YES!) program to offer two outstanding summer camps for rising 6-8th grade students.
YES! Day Camp
June 22-26, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm
$25
This day camp (8:30 AM-4:30 PM) held in Starkville for rising 6th-8th graders allows students to learn about our state’s natural ecosystems, experience real-world science, and explore new outdoor opportunities. A $25 (non-refundable) registration fee includes lunch and all activity costs.

Outdoor Survival Camp
July 6-10; Monday-Friday Overnight Camp
$150
Are you up for an adventure? Do you love camping and the outdoors? This overnight camping experience will introduce students to skills such as fire-building, wilderness first-aid, climbing, hiking, gear packing, fishing, star navigation, map reading, shelter building and so much more!
