2015 SHS HALL OF FAMOUS NOMINATIONS DUE APRIL 8
NOMINATE AN ALUMNUS OF SHS WHO IS DOING OUTSTANDING WORK AFTER GRADUATION
Starkville School District and Starkville Foundation for Public Education are accepting nominations for the year 2015 inductees until April 8
The Program was established in 1992 for the purpose of honoring alumni of Starkville High School. The intent of this program is to recognize former students, faculty and friends who have, as a result of their association with SHS, made significant contributions to society. Previous inductees are/were involved in education, medicine, military service, business and finance, the arts, and athletics. Two hallway vestibules have been designated to house the plaques and portraits of honorees.
Nominees must have graduated from either Starkville High School or the former Henderson High School at least 25 years ago; they must have made significant contributions to both community service and public education. Outstanding contributors to the Starkville School District may also be considered.
