Does your child love science? Encourage them to apply for Starkville Science Club! They will explore science beyond the classroom, learn about science-related careers, investigate science in action and participate in hands-on scientific research.
Science Club is offered to students in 4th and 5th grades at Henderson Ward Stewart, Overstreet and West Elementary Schools who are selected through a competitive application process. Science Club will meet weekly after school on Thursdays at Henderson Ward Stewart and Overstreet Elementary Schools. West Elementary School has not yet finalized a weekly meeting day.

Applications may be returned to your child's classroom teacher or school office. Applications may also be emailed to Brenda Jackson, Lead Science Teacher, at bjackson@starkvillesd.com. The deadline to apply is August 30.
