The numbers are in, and the scores add up to excellence! State test score results for the Starkville Oktibbeha School District for the 2017-18 school year show impressive gains in student proficiency and student growth, including some double digit gains across grades 3-8 in English language arts, math and science.
"Our teachers' focus on each child's individualized learning experience to support the greatest opportunity for his/her success is what really impacts our achievement as a district," said Supt. Eddie Peasant. "Our teachers' efforts from the first day of school to build positive relationships with students and engage them in through student-centered learning adds up to excellence."
