Due to winter weather that resulted in the loss of two instructional days, the District has decided that Monday, February 19, which was originally scheduled as a Parent Teacher Conference Day, will be a regular school day for students and employees.
As we prepare for our end of the year assessments, it is important for us to maximize instructional time in the classroom. The loss of two days, especially at the high school level because of the block schedule, significantly impacts the time needed for a teacher to cover required material in a particular course.
If you need to schedule a parent conference, please contact your child’s teacher(s) directly to do so.
At this time, Monday, April 2, remains a holiday for the Starkville Oktibbeha School School District.
