Work is expected to begin on Wednesday, October 13, on a bridge at Starkville High School that connects Victory Lane to Starkville High School's main campus.
The bridge, located behind the Millsaps building, was identified by the City of Starkville as a bridge in need of emergency repair.
The cost of the bridge project is being funded by the Mississippi Department of Transportation's Emergency Road and Bridge Repair program, the school district, and the Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors.
During the bridge repair, the bridge and the drive behind Millsaps will be closed to traffic.
